Introduction to Mindfulness

March 21st and 28th, 2017, 5:30-7:00pm, with Betsy Nelson, LCSW.  Class fee is $20.  Classes fill up fast.  Pre-registration required.  Click here for more information.  (This class is full.)

Tai Chi Easy with Nancy Saum, RN.

This series class starts Saturday,  Mar. 4, 2017 - Apr. 15, 2017, 9:30-10:30am. This 7 week series is $70, paid in advance.

Ongoing Classes:

​​QiGong drop-in classes with Nancy Saum, RN,   Thursdays, 10:00-11:00am.  $10/class paid in advance for the month, and $12 paid for one class at a time. (No classes held for QiGong Mar. 2, 2017).

Every Tuesday, 10:45am-12:30pm, parents meet in our  group for Mindfulness in Parenting led by teachers from the Sarasota Mindfulness Institute at Unity Church on Proctor Road. Discuss and explore growth opportunities in parenting while building community support.  Bring the Village to your Parenting! Learn some life-saving, easy mindfulness practices to help in these growth moments! Bring your own lunch and we will eat together afterwards. Donations of $5 - $10 per visit gratefully accepted.

The Sarasota Mindfulness Institute is working to help make Sarasota a happier, healthier place to live.  Please join us by participating in our mindfulness programs.

We offer drop-in meditation groups two times a week.  We are a non-religious organization.  We welcome people from all walks of life to join us.

Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR):

We also offer an MBSR 8-week course several times a year.
