

Carl Eisen

Carl is a recently retired airline captain. He began practicing mindfulness meditation in 2008, completed the UCLA Trained Mindfulness Facilitator program in 2016, and became a professional level teacher in the International Mindfulness Teachers Association in 2017. He also completed training with UCSD Center for Mindfulness, Mindfulness Based Relapse Prevention in 2017.
He was a trained Critical Incident Response Program (CIRP) volunteer offering peer support to fellow pilots after accident or incident events. Carl is the founder of Mindful Aviator, an organization that offers meditation-based wellness solutions for pilots internationally, www.mindfulaviator.com.
He and his wife Cathy host a local sitting group in Punta Gorda. Their son is attending college in West Virginia.
