Laughter Yoga, developed by Indian physician Dr. Madan Kataria in 1995, is a combination of breathing and laughter exercises which oxygenate your body and brain and make one healthier and more energetic. It is a single exercise that promotes complete physical and emotional wellbeing.  

Anyone can laugh and practice laughter as a group exercise without relying on a sense of humor, jokes or comedy.  Laughter Yoga is based on research that shows your body does not differentiate between real and simulated laughter; one gets the same benefits.
