Online Movement Classes

The following classes are online Zoom classes only, taught by Nancy Saum, RN.


This practice may be described as moving meditation, with coordinated slow flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and a focused meditative state of mind. Qigong is now practiced throughout China and worldwide for recreation, exercise, relaxation, disease prevention, self­-healing, meditation and self ­cultivation.  No prior Qigong experience required. 


Class Times:   Tuesdays at 7:00pm

                           Thursdays at 10:00am

Tai Chi Easy™

Tai Chi Easy™ is a blend of simple medical Qigong techniques with carefully chosen Tai Chi exercises that are accessible to anyone, from the very fit to those confined to wheelchairs or recovering from surgery.    As you move, you breathe deeply and naturally, focusing your attention — just as you do in mindfulness meditation — on breath and bodily sensations.  Instruction will be limited, so it would be somewhat challenging for people completely new to the practice.


Class Time:  Monday at 10:00am

Please select each class series that you wish to attend in the month of October.  If you wish to enroll in one series and take one class a week the cost is $15/month; two series classes is $30/month and $45/month for three classes series in the month. per week. Each month you will register for classes and receive a confirmation email with instructions for payment followed by a link to each class you are enrolled in.
