QiGong With Nancy

Qigong practice may be described as moving meditation, with coordinated slow flowing movement, deep rhythmic breathing, and a focused meditative state of mind. Qigong is now practiced throughout China and worldwide for recreation, exercise, relaxation, disease prevention, selfhealing, meditation and selfcultivation. We will practice the 4 basic elements of Qigong as taught by Roger Jahnke, OMD: breath, self-applied massage, movement, and meditation.   These powerful mind-body practices are simple and relaxing and accessible to everyone at any level of fitness and physical ability…they can be done standing or sitting with equal benefit.  With practice you will notice improvement in managing stress, along with better sleep and mood. Physically you will notice increased flexibility, balance, endurance and improved immune function.  No prior Qigong experience required.  Please email the instructor if you have questions. Instructor for the following classes is: Nancy Saum, RN, Senior Trainer, Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi

Class suspended until further notice.
