Lisa Patterson, MA, LPC, CT, RYT-200

A professional counselor by trade, Lisa Evers Patterson has worked in the human services field for over 30 years. Lisa’s interest in meditation began in 1982 in Boulder, CO, after a long weekend of cross-
legged misery. Many years of on and off “sitting” and multiple silent retreats later, her practice and passion deepened following MBSR teacher training. Lisa is listed on the Brown University Mindfulness
Center’s MBSR Teacher Registry, has taken evidence-based instructor certification through the School of Positive Transformation at Naropa University, and is a member of the International Mindfulness and
Meditation Alliance. She also carries 200-level yoga instructor credential. Lisa’s other activities include facilitating grief groups for Tidewell Hospice, participating on a medical task force for Compassion & Choices, and tending to those who are dying as an end-of-life doula. A lover of long beach walks, Lisa and her family live in Englewood (most of the time).
